Crosstrek Cancellation and Gear Policy

  • Cancellation until 30 to 15 days before the trek start date: Full monetary refund on your payment method after deducting 4% transaction charges.
  • 15 days to 24 hours before the trek start date –
  • 50% monetary refund on your payment method.
  • No refund less than 24 hours before the trek start date.
  • No refund for cancellations at Basecamp

Rescheduling or Postponing of Gear

  • Rescheduling or postponing of gears 7 days before the trek start date:
  • 90% monetary refund.
  • Rescheduling or postponing of gears less than 7 days before the trek start date:
  • 50% monetary refund.
  • Size Changes and Offline Rentals:
  • No size changes are allowed at Basecamp and no refund for such cancellations.
  • No offline rentals are available at Base camps unless in emergencies.
  • Gears/rental amounts cannot be changed or used for other gears at Basecamp.

Refunds on Trek Interruption

  • No refund for trekkers who return from the middle of the trek due to ill health, disciplinary reasons, or personal reasons.
  • If a trek is called off by India hikes before it starts, a 96% monetary refund will be provided on your payment method.
  • If the trek started and trekkers come down due to any weather conditions there wont be any refund provided.

Damaged Gear

  • An appropriate fine, based on the extent of damage, will be charged.
  • The extent of damage will be decided by the store in charge.
  • Fines or lost charges are to be paid in the Basecamp; they won’t be deducted from your deposit.
  • Deposit money will be used if online payment is not possible.

Lost Gear

  • An appropriate fine equivalent to the value of the gear will be charged.
  • If the deposit amount is insufficient, you will be required to pay the remaining cost.
